So that's where I've been going wrong!

Appendix to <a href="http://palin.dro.me.uk/2010/04/10/apparently-the-iphone-is-much/" rel="nofollow">complaint about the apostrophe bug on mduk</a>:
I'm having to resort to [CHR=rsquo] because other attempted fixes, such as doubling the apostrophe, simply get eaten on the next edit of the page.

Meanwhile, following on from that comment test success (even including gravatar support!): the apostrophe bug is back on mduk (a side-effect of you fiddling?) and there has been an explosion of (fake?) sign-ups since xmas.

PS You seem to have been upset enough to forget to title this entry originally (the link being "title"). Though at least it did save your work anyway, unlike the way min-data-uk throws the entire entry away if it's untitled.
ended up with a lot of the stuff that we ended up making not being entirely to the specifications, largely due to the specification changing without our knowledge or it being incomplete, and us having to change it with a bunch of kludgy fixes.
That's sadly quite the norm in the real world of work.

PS Still no preview button for posts.

<blockquote>I have failed.

It has been about 2 weeks since I last blogged</blockquote>
That sounds like this is some online confessional rather than a blog! I don't suppose a serious one of those would work though. Not only would it have to be open to anyone to post starter items but it probably ought to be closed for replies to those. Meanwhile, it would certainly attract lots of fakers rather than real penitents. However, something set up as a spoof version all along could be funny.

Meanwhile, now that you have more than 1 blog entry, it has become obvious that the layout of the header links isn't good. The title of the entry jams up against the link to the preceding item and isn't really saved from that by being in a larger font. You probably need two lines to place the title below the previous and next links. Or you could add a spacer between the elements and/or centralise the title - which will presumably no longer work well when the title becomes too long for the page width, so that would need to be tested too.
